I've always enjoyed expressing myself creatively. One of my earliest memories is reading the book, Where the Wild Things Are, and then trying to draw all of the creatures inside. I related to this book not only because the character's name is Max but because Max's adventure set my imagination free. I now read the same worn copy of this book to my one-year-old son, and it brings me back to those days when anything was possible; where Wild Things "rumpus" in the forest and swing from the trees.
Things have changed a lot for me since those early days, but one thing that hasn't changed is the need to express myself creatively. Whether it is through drawing, painting, photography, making models, directing short films, creating music or, most importantly, graphic design, I am always in the middle of one project or another. When I am not pursuing one of my creative endeavors I can be found mountain biking or hiking the many beautiful trails in the area, improving my skills at disc golf, tossing a Frisbee around with friends, immersing myself in a sci-fi or fantasy book or, of course, spending time with my wonderful family who are so supportive of everything I do. Each of these things in my life gives me inspiration which I bring to my work everyday.
