During my time at the Natural Pages I designed many articles written about a wide range of subjects. My process for designing articles is always to first read the whole article through. As I read I look for any ideas that grab me and have the potential to be visually compelling. Keeping those ideas in mind, when I finish the article, I then attempt to convey the core message through image and type selection.
